– VHHE/Mobile Repairs Re-Commences Operations

VHHE/Mobile Repairs has been a successful business providing high quality and customer centric services to a large client base including many government agencies for over 28 years. It has an excellent reputation and is a solid business. In February 2016 VHHE joined forces with KCare Pty Ltd, an iconic Australian manufacture and importer of assistive technology aids and equipment, also with a strong brand and client following. Unfortunately the K Care Pty Ltd manufacturing division found itself in financial difficulty resulting in the company being placed in Receivership and Administration and then sold by the Receiver & Manager, Alan Hayes of Hayes Advisory, effective 11 May 2017. VHHE/Mobile Repairs, although trading well was also impacted by the Receivership and Administration and the doors were briefly closed on April 7th 2017 by the Receiver & Manager. More details

Cabrini Health is proud to announce that it has purchased the assets of VHHE/Mobile Repairs and offered employment to the former staff. This compliments a number of other health technology businesses operated by Cabrini Health under its Cabrini Technology Group. Through the acquisition of VHHE/Mobile Repairs assets and the transfer of staff and customer contracts we add further strength and capability in the provision of high quality equipment and support particularly, in the health, aged care and disability sectors. This coupled with the financial strength and stability of Cabrini will see opportunities for growth and further development. As a not for profit organisation our customers can be assured that any surpluses are used to continue to improve the service while keeping costs to our customers as low as possible. VHHE/Mobile Repairs has re-opened its doors and is business as usual.

We will retain all existing contracts and strive to build on existing relationships and services. There are also many new opportunities that we will be exploring including the provision of a wider range of equipment. To achieve operational synergies, some of the operations will move from Croydon to the Cabrini Technology Mount Waverley facility, however it is expected to retain a retail outlet for equipment sales and rental equipment hire returns.
